MUSIC / TOURING
La La Land. Interstellar. Whiplash. Love Actually.
La La Land, Interstellar, Whiplash and Love Actually: four highlights of our international film concert work.

Watching a film with live music changes the experience of the work. The performance unfolds in the present, while the images follow their own timeline. Production brings the two together so the audience never has to think about the systems connecting them.
Four ways to experience cinema live
La La Land in Concert in Venice, Paris and Monaco; Interstellar Live in Helsinki; Whiplash in Concert in London and Paris; and Love Actually in Concert. Four highlights of work that brings together music, projection and live synchronisation.
Work that travels
Madrid Produce tours internationally with several titles in the Films in Concert format. This is an established part of the company’s activity, alongside other music and stage projects.
Touring poses a different question from a single performance: how to keep a show consistent as venue conditions change. Projection, sound, synchronisation and technical operation must work as parts of the same experience.
Preparing for each venue
Preparation means identifying what must remain consistent and what can adapt. This helps us work with local teams, allocate resources and plan focused rehearsals. Different venues need different technical solutions.
Technology should support the performance, never compete with it.
The first conversation about a film concert centres on the title, territory, venue and schedule. Artistic, technical and rights requirements are agreed for each production.
An ongoing collaboration
IMEXSound, specialising in sound development and innovation, immersive sound and instrumental music, is a regular collaborator of Madrid Produce in films in concert and international touring.
